Unparalleled Access To The Seat Of Power.

With Academic Campuses in Places Like Washington, D.C. and Oxford, UK, UGA Takes Experiential Learning to a New Level.

Many universities offer students the opportunity to live and study in Washington, D.C. for a semester. And UGA does too. But we’re also one of only a few universities with an academic campus in D.C. It’s called Delta Hall, funded through a partnership with Delta Airlines, and it has so much to offer students interested in working and learning in the nation’s capital.
Opened in the spring of 2015, Delta Hall is a residential center located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood that houses UGA students on the second and third floors with classes taught in the first floor classrooms. It is also home to the University of Georgia’s Office of Government Relations.

For students who earn top honors within the Morehead Honors College, a UGA Foundation Fellowship allows them to receive fully-funded spring travel/study programs once a year for three years.

It’s non-major specific and open to any undergraduate. They have the ability to intern full-time at any organization of their choice while still earning a semester’s worth of credit hours. It’s a robust program that’s a favorite among UGA students seeking experiential learning.

Washington D.C., isn’t the only place where UGA educational opportunities. The UGA at Oxford Centre hosts students in a renovated nineteenth-century Victorian mansion in North Oxford. It is not only able to accommodate 40 students but also boasts a library, seminar room, IT facilities, comfortable living areas, modern kitchens, a beautiful set of gardens, sporting lawns and laundry facilities.

UGA students are granted special status as members of Keble College or Trinity College, two of the colleges which make up the University of Oxford. As members of the colleges, UGA students have full access to every aspect of college life, right alongside the Oxford students. They may dine in the hall, study in the library, join college sports teams and participate in student societies, just as they undertake their classes in the one-on-one setting of tutorials, as all Oxford students do.

The oldest study abroad program offered by the University of Georgia is the Cortona Program located in the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy. Since 1970, the UGA International Center in Cortona has offered study abroad programs in Art and Art History during the spring, summer and fall academic terms. Centrally located in a breathtaking region of Italy, it is within easy reach of the cultural hubs of Florence and Rome.

For students who earn top honors within the Morehead Honors College, a UGA Foundation Fellowship allows them to receive fully funded spring travel/study programs once a year for three years.
